PARENT RESPONSIBILTIES:

Encourage your children to go to school regularly. Talk with your children about their future education and career goals. Help them map out which courses they will need to get there. Make sure your children understand why it's important to go to school.

Make sure your words and actions send positive messages about school.

Becoming involved with your child's school activities. Students develop positive attitudes about school when their parents take an active interest in their studies and attend school activities.

Make sure your children's academics receive high priority.
