Gordon Robertson
Business Manager

Gordon Robertson, Jr., Business Manager – Prepares annual operating budget; maintains investment portfolio; administers capitol outlay program; establishes and manages insurance program for group insurance, liability insurance, automobile insurance; supervises all aspects of the general ledger accounting system for general fund and all other state and Federal funds; supervises payroll; prepares and submits annual financial report to state; and provides needed financial information to the Superintendent and the board. After eighteen years with the Legislative Auditor’s Office performing annual audits of state and local agencies, fifteen years as a Senior Auditor in Charge, and fourteen years as Business Manager of the Ascension Parish School Board Gordon Robertson, Jr. joined the Zachary Community School Board staff. In the past, Mr. Robertson has managed a budget in excess of one hundred million dollars; an investment portfolio of over seventy million dollars; and supervised a payroll department that serviced approximately 2,500 active and retired employees. He is retired from Army Reserves with twenty seven years of service.
