Bond Updates

Zachary Elementary School currently houses the district's 2nd and 3rd grade students. The campus consists of a cluster of one-story buildings all built about the same time. The school campus is situated on a large tract of land within an established residential neighborhood. The campus is designed so that all the spaces are accessed from the outside. Also on campus are several T-Buildings and a newly constructed "Quad" classroom building completed in the summer of 2002. One of the results of the bond projects is the current fronting of the school on 39th Street and the creation of a new "face" for the school. Bond projects included the construction of a new administration area,new Library Media Center, renovations to the kitchen and re-roofing the existing buildings.
