The Zachary Community School Board met at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 28, 2000 in the Main Room of the School Board Building, 4700 Main Street, Zachary, Louisiana. Present were Jerry Boudreaux, Gene Bruner, Danny Davis, Brent Kelley, Jackie Harris, Jr., Ted Hanson, Louise Horton, Jesse Spears and Terry Womack.

Jesse Spears called the Meeting to order. Jackie Harris delivered the Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Danny Davis.

Announcement were given by Jerry Boudreaux to include the next regular meeting date of December 7, 2000, and the new mailing address of the Zachary Community School Board of 4700 Main Street, Zachary, LA 70791.

The meeting was designed as a Work Session and included a review, by Walton Barnes, II, regarding the attendance and items of the Status Conference. Also, included and led by Gene Bruner, as a part of the Work Session, was a Brain Storming Activity. This activity was used to capture additional ideas and concerns from both the Board and Attendees of the Meeting. The ideas and concerns will be use to produce a timeline of goals and deadlines. A discussion lead by Jerry Boudreaux stressed the importance of driving and reaching the immediate timelines, and the continued need of reaching for the support of the Zachary citizens.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Gene Bruner and seconded by Danny Davis. By a yes vote, the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
