Zachary School Board Minutes
April 1, 2004 7:00 PM
Members Present: Mrs. Coleman, Mr. Dayton Mr. Davis, Mrs. Horton, Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Kimmell, Mr. Moore, Mr. Snowden, Mrs. Young and Mr. Drake.
Also Present: Stacey Naquin, Board Attorney, Connie Aslin, Board Secretary, Gordon Robertson, Business Manager, Adonica Duggan, Administrative Assistant and Aeneid Mason, Student Support Services.
The Special Meeting of the Zachary Community School Board was held on April 1, 2004 at 4700 Main Street.
The Invocation was given by Danny Davis.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Carl Snowden.

Roll: 7 Present 1 Absent (Mrs. Kimmell)
Mrs. Kimmell arrived at 7:04PM.
Mr. David Dayton will not be counted until he is sworn in.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR MARCH 25, 2004
Mr. Moore made the motion to approve the Minutes of March 25, 2004 and Mr. Davis seconded the motion.

SWEARING IN DISTRICT 9 BOARD MEMBER DAVID DAYTON
David Dayton was sworn in as District 9 Board Member by Attorney Stacy Naquin. The board welcomed Mr. Dayton.
PROCLAMATION FOR A SPECIAL ELECTION
Attorney Stacy Naquin asked the board approval for a Proclamation to call a Special Election to be held on November 2, 2004 to fill the vacancy of Terry Womack, District 9 School Board Member.
Mr. Moore made the motion to approve the Proclamation for a Special Election for November 2, 2004 and Mrs. Coleman seconded the motion. VOTE: 9 YEAS 0 NAYS 0 ABSENT
APPROVAL OF ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS CONTRACT AND FEE SCHEDULE
Chris Pellegrin from CSRS reviewed the Architects and Engineers Contract and fee schedule. After discussion from the board, Mrs. Coleman made the motion to approve the Architects and Engineers Contract Fee Schedule and
Mr. Davis seconded the motion.
