The regular meeting of the Zachary Community Education Facilities Improvement District was held on April 10, 2008 at 4700 Main Street, Zachary, La.

ROLL:  Mr. Snowden, Mrs. Young, Mr. Swilley, Mrs. Samuel, Mr. Owen, Mrs. Rogers, Mr. Kelley, and Mr. Benda      Absent – Mr. Dayton

MINUTES FOR AUGUST 23, 2007

Mrs. Samuel moved to approve the minutes for August 23, 2007 and Mr. Kelley seconded the motion.

VOTE:  9 YEAS   0 NAYS   1 ABSENT

SALES TAX EXEMPTION

ORDINANCE

Mr. Owen moved to adopt and ordinance amending an ordinance adopted on August 23, 2007 providing for the levy of a one percent (1%) sales and use tax by the Zachary Community Educational Facilities Improvement District to provide for the exemption of certain charges for the furnishing of repairs to tangible personal property, and providing for other matters in connection therewith and Mr. Benda seconded the motion.

Mrs. Samuel moved to adjourn and Mr. Benda seconded the motion.
