ZACHARY COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES

AUGUST 6, 2019

The Zachary Community School Board Meeting was held on August 6, 2019 at 12:45 p.m. at 3755 Church Street, Zachary, Louisiana.

ROLL CALL: Mrs. Watkins, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Owen, Mrs. Kimmell, Mr. Dayton.   

4 ABSENT (Mrs. Young Mrs. Westmoreland, Mr. Mackie, Mrs. Vessel)

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mrs. Kimmell moved to approve the minutes for the July 16, 2019 Work Session and Board Meeting.  Mr. Owen seconded the motion.

There was no public comment.

VOTE:    5  YEAS    0 NAYS      4 ABSENT

SUPERINTENDENT REPORT

Mr. Devillier reported that he has heard nothing but good things from our employees about the speaker, Jeremy Anderson, that spoke today at our convocation.  At some point we are hoping to have him come and speak at the schools.  All students will return to school on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

PUPIL PROPRESSION AMENDMENT

Mr. Hughes moved to approve the Pupil Progression Amendment.  Mr. Dayton seconded the motion.

There was no public comment.
