ZACHARY COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES

The Zachary Community School Board Meeting was held on February 2, 2021 at 7:00pm, at the ZHS Visual & Performing Arts Center, 4100 Bronco Lane, Zachary, Louisiana.

Invocation – Mrs. Westmoreland

Pledge of Allegiance – Mrs. Kimmell

ROLL CALL: Mr. Mackie, Mrs. Westmoreland, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Owen, Dr. Lathon, Mrs. Kimmell, Mrs. Watkins, Mr. Dayton.    1 Absent - (Mrs. Young) -  (Dr. Lathon attending via Teleconference and is not eligible to vote.)

 APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mrs. Westmoreland moved to approve the minutes for January 5, 2021 Resources Committee, Work Session, Board Meeting, and January 26, 2021 Mini Board Retreat.  Mrs. Watkins seconded the motion.

There was no public comment.

VOTE:     7 YEAS    0 NAYS    1 ABSENT

2020 SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS TRAINING HOURS

Mr. Devillier presented the 2020 School Board Members Training Hours:  Gaynell Young – 14 Hours, Brandy Westmoreland – 8 Hours, Marty Hughes – 8 Hours, Kenneth Mackie – 22 Hours, Hubie Owen – 8 Hours, Dr. Elecia Lathon – 9 Hours, Beth Kimmell – 14 Hours, Ann Watkins – 13 Hours and David Dayton – 10 Hours.

2021 BOARD COMMITTEES

Mrs. Kimmell moved to approve the 2021 Board Committees.  Mrs. Westmoreland seconded the motion.

There was no public comment.

VOTE: 7 YEAS   0 NAYS   1 ABSENT
