MAY 4, 2021
The Zachary Community School Board Meeting was held on May 4, 2021 at 7:00 pm., at the ZHS Visual & Performing Arts Center, 4100 Bronco Lane, Zachary, La.
The Invocation was led by Mr. Hughes.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Owen.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mrs. Kimmell moved to approve the minutes for April 20, 2021 Resources Committee, Work Session, and Board Meeting and April 27, 2021 Committee of the Whole Meeting. Mr. Dayton seconded the motion.

RECOGNITION OF 2021 SUPPORT WORKERS OF THE YEAR
The board presented plaques to the following Support Workers :
Kelly Sanders – Zachary Early Learning Center, James Hollinquest – Northwester Elementary, Clarissa Anderson – Rollins Place Elementary, Shantel Ramsey – Zachary Elementary, Kristin Olinde – Copper Mill Elementary, Jacqueline Starden – Northwestern Middle, Benda Hillard – Zachary High School, Sheila Harrell – Sassy, Breland Anderson – Operations, Barbara Aucoin - Main Office
BOND RESOLUTION
Mrs. Young moved to approve a Resolution providing for the issuance and sale of not exceeding Seventeen Million Dollars (17,000,000) of Taxable General Obligation School Refunding Bonds, Series 2021A of Zachary Community School District No. 1, State of Louisiana, prescribing the form fixing the details and providing for the rights of the owners thereof; providing for the payment of the principal of and interest on such bonds and the application of the proceeds thereof to the refunding of certain bonds of said District, and providing for other matters in connection therewith. Mr. Hughes seconded the motion.

Mr. Hughes moved to approve the Fennwood Hills Country Club Contract. Mrs. Westmoreland seconded the motion.

JOINT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ZACHARY SRO AND CROSSING GUARDS CONTRACT
Mrs. Kimmell moved to approve the Joint Agreement with the City of Zachary SRO and Crossing Guards Contract for one year, starting on July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Mrs. Watkins seconded the motion.

2021– 2022 FOOD SERVICE AND SUPPLY BIDS
Ms. Russell asked the board for approval of 6 out of 8 bids for the 2021 – 2022 Food Service and Supply Bids and to grant her permission to readvertise for the Pizza and Deli Sandwich Bids.
Mrs. Westmoreland moved to accept the 2021 – 2022 Food Service and Supply Bids and readvertise for the Pizza and Deli Sandwich Bids. Mr. Hughes seconded the motion.

Mr. Dayton moved to approve the Administrative Contracts. Mrs. Kimmell seconded the motion. (See Attached)
