The Zachary Community School Board Meeting was held on September 6, 2022 at 7:00 pm at 3755 Church Street, Zachary, Louisiana, 70791.
The Invocation was led by Dr. Lathon.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Owen.
Board Members Present: Mr. Hughes, Mrs. Young, Mrs. Westmoreland, Mr. Mackie, Mr. Owen, Dr. Lathon, Mrs. Watkins, Mr. Dayton ABSENT: 1 – Mrs. Kimmell
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Mackie moved to approve the minutes for the August 2, 2022 Resources, Work Session and Board Meeting. Dr. Lathon seconded the motion.

PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE FOR FOOD SERVICE AND SUPPLY BIDS
Mrs. Young moved to give permission to advertise for Food Service and Supply Bids. Mrs. Westmoreland seconded the motion.

VOTE 8 YEAS 0 NAYS 1 ABSENT
UNINSURED/UNDERINSURED MOTORIST BODILY INJURY RESOLUTION
Mr. Dayton moved to reject the Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury Resolution. Mrs. Westmoreland seconded the motion.

Mrs. Westmoreland moved to approve the following policies: File: GBDA – Employment of Personnel, File GBN – Dismissal of Employees, File: GBRIB – Sick Leave, File: GBRID – Military Leave, File: IDDFA – Special Education Advisory Council, File: IDDFC – Cameras in Special Education Classrooms, File: JBCE – Public School Choice, File: JGCE – Child Abuse, File: LEH – Patriotic Organizations. Mr. Mackie seconded the motion.
