EXPULSION HEARING APPEAL

February 18, 2025

The Expulsion Hearing Appeal was held on February 18, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at 3755 Church Street, Zachary, Louisiana.

ROLL CALL: Dr. Young, Mr. Talbot, Mr. Hughes, Dr. Lathon, Mr. Gaines, Dr. London, Mr. Dayton.  2 ABSENT   Mrs. Freeman arrived at 5:50 p.m.  Mr. Mackie arrived at 6:00 p.m.

HEARING APPEAL TW

TW and Family did not come to the meeting.  Mr. Necaise stated that he spoke to the family on January 27, 2025, about the hearing and followed up with an email to them.

Mr. Hughes moved to go into Executive Session for the Hearing Appeal for TW.  Mr. Dayton seconded the motion.

There was no public comment.

Dr. Young – Yea, Mr. Talbot – Yea, Mr. Hughes – Yea, Dr. Lathon – Yea, Mr. Gaines – Yea,  Dr. London – Yea, Mr. Dayton – Yea

Dr. London moved to come out of Executive Session and go back into regular Board Meeting.  Mr. Talbot seconded the motion.

Mrs. Freeman Arrived

Mr. Talbot moved to affirm the expulsion as it stands.   Mrs. Freeman seconded the motion.
